Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) candidate for president in the most recent election, claimed on Sunday that he was receiving threats for turning down stupendous offers.

Obi insisted that he is prepared to face any obstacle.

The former governor of Anambra State withheld the names of the people or organisations that made the propositions to him.

He stated this when taking questions as a guest on “ParallelFacts”‘ X Space.

Obi emphasised that he would always follow the right path and that he had no fear of dying.

“I can assure you that the offers I am receiving today are incredible. Conversely, I find it terrifying what they intend to do to me if I decline their offer. However, I’m prepared to face any challenge.

“As I often remind people, even if I pass on at sixty-something, I did not die a young person. A few folks in their 20s, 30s, and 40s passed away. Additionally, my children are now graduates and independent.

It’s acceptable if I go today, provided that I stay true to the assertions I made the day I announced the decision to enter politics.

He declared, “I will always be on the right path.”
