In a strong display of his commitment to the welfare of his constituents, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa is facilitating a transformative free training and empowerment program for 150 deserving widows and women across the Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.

This significant initiative is a collaborative effort with the Nigerian Army, in partnership with Mandalor Consultant Limited. It reflects Hon. Okwara’s vision to ensure that the benefits of democracy are tangible and impactful for every individual in Arochukwu/Ohafia. He stated, “Our goal is to uplift the most vulnerable members of our society, providing them with the tools and resources they need to achieve economic independence and contribute meaningfully to our community. By empowering our women, we are not just changing individual lives; we are strengthening the very foundation of our constituency.”

The comprehensive program is set to officially commence on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at De-KOKO Hotel, Asaga Road, Ebem Ohafia. Following this initial gathering, participants will move to selected centers within the constituency for specialized hands-on training tailored to equip them with valuable, market-relevant skills.

A key highlight of this empowerment initiative is the robust support package for all beneficiaries. Each participant will receive a valuable startup kit essential for their chosen trade, along with crucial financial support. This comprehensive aid is designed to ensure that participants can immediately apply their newly acquired skills and establish sustainable livelihoods.
