Amos Oge KaluAccording to reports, an articulated vehicle in Benin City, Edo State, smashed and killed two people who were allegedly part of a vigilante group.
According to information obtained by OHAFIATV, the accident occurred on Tuesday near the University of Benin, or UNIBEN, axis on the popular Ugbowo-Lagos route.
As of the time of publication, the identities of the deceased were unknown.
According to witnesses, the two vigilantes were on a motorbike when the truck struck them, crushing their heads beyond recognition. The incident happened at around noon.
The two vigilantes died instantly, according to the witness, who spoke on condition of anonymity. Their remains have been transferred to an unidentified mortuary.
