According to Annie Macaulay Idibia, a Nigerian actress and model, she doesn’t play with her backbone.
Annie said this during Sunday’s Headies Awards ceremony in Lagos. Annie and her spouse, 2Face Idibia, recently separated.
In response to a reporter who asked about her family, Annie said that her two girls are the only family she has.
She also described Olivia and Isabella, her kids, as her “backbone.”
“You mean my children?” she asked in pidgin. My kids are Kampe. The first is a Yankee who attends school. Don’t mess with that girl. My children don’t play with me. They serve as my backbone.
When Annie introduced herself on stage and made fun of 2Face, she created headlines at the event.
On stage, Annie introduced herself as single, saying, “My name is Annie Idi—oh, I’m sorry, Annie Macaulay.” Hello, unmarried women!
