The community of Amaogwu, Bende Ovu, Abia State, bid a final farewell to Late Elder Mrs. Gladys Nwauche Ifenkwe on Saturday, 26th April 2025.
The burial ceremony was attended by a large gathering of mourners from within and outside the community, all paying their last respects to the departed matriarch.


Among the dignitaries present to pay his last respects to Mrs. Gladys was Chief Dr. Emeka Kalu, President of ECK Foundation Worldwide. Dr. Kalu described the late Elder Gladys Ifenkwe as a virtuous woman, a blessing, and a beacon of hope to her family, which he is part of.
His presence at the burial ceremony was a testament to the impact the deceased had on the lives of those around her.
The somber occasion was filled with tears and memories as family, friends, and well-wishers gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of Late Elder Gladys Ifenkwe.
Her passing has undoubtedly left a void in the lives of those who knew her, but her memory will continue to be cherished and celebrated.
