In a significant step towards resolving communal crises, Hon. Ibe Osonwa, member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency, met with delegates from ISU kingdom at his residence in Ohafia LGA.

The meeting focused on finding solutions to the ongoing conflicts between ISU kingdom in Arochukwu LGA, Utuma in Biase LGA, and Ukwa in Odukpani LGA of Cross River State.

Engr. Amarachi Kalu, PG of ISU Progressive Union, expressed gratitude to Hon. Ibe for his interventions and efforts towards restoring peace in the affected communities. Hon. Ibe reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring peace is restored, highlighting his meetings with the Deputy Governors of Abia and Cross River States, and his motion for the establishment of a military base in Isu.

The meeting was attended by notable stakeholders, including Chief I.I. Idika, Engr. Amarachi Kalu, and Pastor Ikechukwu Nwankwo, among others. Hon. Ibe’s efforts demonstrate his dedication to promoting peace and development in his constituency.
