Amos Oge KaluKenny Okulogbo, media consultant to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, has dismissed allegations made by Senator Natasha Akpoti as “all tissues of lies”.
Akpoti had accused Akpabio of soliciting a romantic relationship with her and subjecting her to persistent harassment in the Senate after she rejected his advances.
According to Okulogbo, Akpoti’s allegations are motivated by her removal as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Local Content.
“She is just angry because she was removed as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Local Content,” Okulogbo stated. He also hinted that the Senate President would respond to the allegations soon.
This development comes after Akpoti’s explosive interview on Arise TV, where she made the allegations against Akpabio. The incident has sparked a heated debate about the conduct of lawmakers and the need for accountability in the Senate.
