Abia North Youth Agenda (ANYA) Report
“We’ve obtained crucial information from Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole regarding the Bende-OzuAbam-Ohafia-Arochukwu Road project (Contract No. C/N 6481A). According to Hon. Nkole, the project has been allocated 4 billion naira in the 2025 appropriation bill, which is a significant development after a 2-year stalemate.
“It’s essential to note that there were discrepancies between the alleged 3 billion naira appropriation and 9 billion naira debt claims as it is unheard of that any contractor mobilized with upto 3 Billion Naira will not be on site. However, with the new allocation, there’s hope for the project’s commencement and completion.
“As the past representative of Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency, Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole has been making spirited efforts towards ensuring the project’s progress. We commend his efforts and look forward to seeing the project’s completion. We also call on the current representative, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa to develop synergy with his predecessor in areas of interest to the good people of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency”, their report reads.
