After spending a year in Nigeria, Nwanyiocha, along with her family, is preparing to return to Switzerland. Reflecting on their time in Nigeria, she expressed deep gratitude for the experiences that have made Ala Igbo a true home for her children.
She noted that this one year wasn’t just a visit; it was about allowing her kids to live, learn, and grow in the rich and vibrant culture of the Igbo people.
Acknowledging the challenges of living in Nigeria, Nwanyiocha emphasized that Ala Igbo has left a lasting imprint on their hearts. The family leaves with cherished memories and eagerly anticipates the day they can return to this place that has become their home – not just through stories, but through lived experiences.
In her heartfelt farewell, Nwanyiocha extended her thanks to Enugu, Isuofia, Awka, and Aba, expressing her appreciation for everything they have provided. With a hopeful outlook, she concluded with a message of love and the promise of a return: “Until we meet again.”
