The National Youth Alliance has announced the appointment of seasoned economist, Mamman Tijjani, as Economic Adviser to the National Chairman/Youth President.
The appointment was announced by Hon. Jacob Dickson, Special Adviser to the NYA National Chairman, on Sunday.
Mamman Tijjani, a lecturer in the Department of Economics at Federal University Lafia, Nasarawa state, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Maiduguri. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Economics at Bayero University, Kano.
Tijjani has an impressive track record of publications and paper presentations on economics and related matters. His expertise will be invaluable to the NYA in its drive to promote economic empowerment and development among the people of Nigeria, in line with the organization’s manifesto.
“The National Chairman, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas, is thrilled to have Mamman Tijjani on board . His expertise and passion for economic development will be a great asset to the NYA and Nigeria”, Hon. Dickson said.
“Tijanni’s appointment is effective immediately, and he is expected to provide strategic economic advice to the NYA leadership”, the statement concluded
