The President of the National Youth Alliance, NYA, Ambassador Bin Abbas, has reiterated the need for the government at all levels and stakeholders in the Nigeria project to start with utmost dispatch, the need to be proactive in handling the affairs of the youths who are the engine room of a thriving society, insisting that they are a present-day guarantee from our past capable of building today and safeguarding our tomorrow as a nation if their potentials are well harnesses.
The young, energetic and pragmatic leader has for a while spearheaded a drive that is aimed at the emancipation of the youths through positive engagement, empowerment, reorientation and other ample programs that will reposition the youth to be shapers of their destiny, insisting that the system had long placed them at a serious disadvantage which must be unshackled for advancement.
In a statement he made available to the press on Friday, the President said:
‘The power of youth is the common wealth for the entire world. The faces of young people are the faces of our past, our present and our future.
“I had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with members of the Kano Young Kano Traders Association. We have agreed to as a matter of urgency look at the issue of neglect by the Government and other stakeholders of the business world”, he said.
Bin Abbas has continually shown commitment and tenacity in his advocacy for the youths through greater participation in Business, Politics and the general well-being of our society.
