The Defence Headquarters has issued wanted posters for not fewer than 97 people because the safety of the whole country is getting worse.

Terrorists, bandit leaders, and other rebels who are causing chaos in the North and other parts of the country are among those being hunted.

The wanted list also included Simon Ekpa, the head of a faction of the illegal Indigenous People of Biafra, and some of his men, including a notorious killer known as Gentle.

On Friday, Maj. Gen. Edward Buba, who is in charge of Defence Media Operations, revealed the names of the people who are wanted.

Terrorists from the North East and North West were on the list, as well as rebels from the South East and North Central.

In the North West Zone, 33 people, including Bello Turji, Alhaji Shingi, Malindi Yakubu, Boka, Dogo Gide, Halilu Sububu, and others, were put on the wanted list.

At least 21 violent insurgents and thieves from the Southeast and North Central were also named as wanted.

Some of them are David Ndubuisi, High Chief Williams Agbor, Ebuka Nwaka, Friday Ojimka, Obiemesi Chukwudi aka Dan Chuk, David Ezekwem Chidiebube, Amobi Chinonso Okafor aka Temple, and others.
