The Condolence Message read inter-alia:
We write to convey the sincere condolences and deepest sympathy of Okon-Aku Christian Fellowship (0CF) on the passing away of Udumeze Ohafia, Ebiri of Elu, Ezie Ohamoha, Late Professor E. U. L. Imaga. In reflection upon his exceptional and unwavering long reign and service, OCF and indeed many others are encouraged by the example and testimony of the Late Monarch’s deep faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ.
We ask the immediate family, Ohafia clan, and all that had known him, to take solace that his life on earth impacted many for good and urge all of us to uphold those good virtues that he lived for.
We pray that God will give the royal family, Elu Ohafia, the Council of Ohafia Monarchs, and the entire Ohafia clan the fortitude to bear this great loss.
May his soul rest in peace. Amen.
They prayed for the repose of his soul to external glory as a plan for his final committal to Mother Earth is under way.
