In light of the passing of the respected traditional ruler, His Royal Paramountcy, Prof. E.U.L. Imaga, the Udumaeze of Ohafia and Chairman of the Ohafia Council of Nde Ezie Ogo, Chief Dr. Emeka Charles Kalu (ECK), President of the ECK Foundation and Chairman of Starcoll Oil Services Limited, a US-Based Engineering Company, has expressed his condolences to the people of Ohafia Udumaeze.
Kalu, who is also the convener of the Global Initiative for Good Governance, or GIGG, expressed sorrow on the passing of the traditional ruler and remembered the late Ezie Ogo as a well-respected academician and a leader who loved peace.
The Udumaeze was unique among his kind. His profound ideas, intelligence, and sophistication won him a great deal of respect and admiration. He handled problems with a mastery. He was highly intelligent and well-informed.
Chief Kalu prayed, “May Almighty God grant the family of His Royal Paramountcy the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
He urged the good people of Ohafia to find comfort in the late traditional ruler’s legacy of harmony and camaraderie.
