From Sunday to Tuesday, there should be sunshine and dust haze over the country, according to the Nigerian Meteorological Agency, or NiMet.
Dust haze is predicted for the northern area on Sunday for the whole of the forecast period in NiMet’s Weather Outlook, which was announced on Saturday in Abuja.

Over the inland states of the South and the coastal belt, cloudy skies with sporadic sunny spells are predicted for the early hours.
It stated, “Localised thunderstorms are expected over parts of Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom states in the afternoon/evening period.”
Throughout Monday’s forecast period, authorities predicted sunny skies with a hazy environment across the nation’s North and North Central regions.
For the South’s inland states and coastal cities, NiMet forecasted cloudy skies with sporadic sunny spells during the morning hours.
Later, the agency predicted isolated thunderstorms over the states of Imo, Abia, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River.
Sunny and hazy skies are predicted on Tuesday throughout the forecast period across the North and North Central areas.
Morning hours are expected to bring cloudy skies interspersed with sunny spells over the inland regions of the South and the coast.
It stated, “Thunderstorms are predicted over most of the southern region later in the day.”
The public should take the appropriate safety measures because dust particles are in suspension, according to NiMet. People who suffer from asthma or other respiratory conditions should exercise caution when it comes to the current weather.
