In the Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State’s Kulben Community, unidentified gunmen have killed 10 people and injured one.

The event happened on Sunday night, a member of the community named Mr. Jerry Datim told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Jos, the state’s capital.

”At around 8:40 last night, some gunmen assaulted the Kulben village, killing 10 people and injuring one.

”Criminals entered the village and began sporadically firing. People began to flee for their lives, but some were killed by the gunfire; their bodies were later discovered.

We notified the security staff, but by the time they arrived, the attackers had left the neighborhood, he said.

But a senior officer who wished to remain anonymous told NAN that the Plateau State Police Command is pursuing the shooters.

He promised that the law’s wrath would be brought upon the bandits.
