Following his nomination for the ministerial list, an old video of Nyesom Wike, the ex-governor of Rivers State, claiming he had no plans to become a minister after leaving office, has started to gain popularity.
Wike was heard declaring, “Only one person can be a minister from a state, I will not be a minister,” in the viral video. No, I won’t. Unlike Rivers State, I am not a liability.
“Therefore, it’s none of my business if you don’t want to win an election. The election isn’t being handled by me.
“He who wears the shoes knows where it pinches him”
Nasir El-Rufai and Wike were nominated as ministerial hopefuls.
