Amos Oge KaluKylian Mbappe, the captain of France’s national team, has reportedly begun making considerations about moving to Real Madrid next summer, according to El Nacional.
According to the article, the 24-year-old wants to wear jersey number 10 instead of his normal number 7, which belongs to Luka Modric.
The publication reported that the France international has informed Real Madrid that he would like to wear the #10 jersey next summer.
However, if Modric decides to stay at the club longer, he is prepared to wait for him till he departs.
Karim Benzema’s transfer to Al Ittihad has left the #9 shirt empty, which Mbappe will be thrilled to wear.
He has no intention of switching to the number 7 shirt, despite Adidas’ support for the change.
According to the Spanish source, the sponsors of Real Madrid are also lobbying for Mbappe to wear the number 10 jersey.
Endrick, who will join the team next summer, should receive the number 9.
This summer, PSG wants to either extend Mbappe’s contract or sell him to Real Madrid.
