Primate Elijah Ayodele, the head of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, on Sunday encouraged President Bola Tinubu to free Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, or IPOB.

Kanu cannot create the Biafra Republic, according to Primate Ayodele, and he also lacks the authority to split Nigeria.

In a statement released by his media assistant, Osho Oluwatosin, Ayodele said that the only reason IPOB members are crying out is because they are being marginalized, a problem that is readily fixable.

He pleaded with Tinubu to show compassion to the organization’s persecuted leader.

Primate Ayodele declared that Nigeria will divide amicably and without bloodshed at the allotted time of God.

”President Tinubu should look into the matter of Nnamdi Kanu and let justice prevail,” he added. He won’t be the one to split Nigeria, thus I suggest Mr. President to free him. Even in Nigeria, he is unable to establish the Biafra Republic.

“Nnamdi Kanu and the IPOB will just shout. They can’t polarize the nation; they are merely shouting about marginalization, which is readily resolvable.

The country will be divided by God Himself when He is ready, and there won’t be any bloodshed or violence.
