Watford has provided an update on Samuel Kalu’s injury ahead of their Sky Bet Championship clash against Preston North End.
The winger has been sidelined since early January after sustaining an injury against Norwich City.
Kalu has struggled to stay fit since joining Watford from the French club, Girondis Bordeaux in January 2022.
“Samuel Kalu expects to be back with the group in two weeks, stepping up his return from the hamstring injury picked up in early January,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.
The 25-year-old has made nine league appearances for the Hornets this season.
His compatriot, Tom Dele-Bashiru has already been ruled out for the rest of the season as a result of injury.
