Abia North 2023: LP Candidate Urges Constituents To Convert Endorsements To Votes.

by Amos Kalu

The Labour Party candidate for Abia North Senatorial Zone in the 2023 general election, Chief Nnamdi Iro Oji (a.k.a Opotoyom), has advised his numerous supporters around the zone to do well by ensuring that their endorsements and promises of support are translated into votes at the polls because that is the only way they can make their voices heard in decisions affecting their lives when they vote in a leader of their choice.

The grassroots leader who has engaged virtually all the wards of the zone said that the Labour Party is a movement that has been prepared by God to liberate Nigerians and Abians from many years of backwardness and endless impunity from purveyors of our collective patrimony, urging the electorates not to lose this golden opportunity to take back their Destiny.

“What they don’t know is that we have come to understand their gimmicks and antics used to hoodwink us into believing that they mean well for us whereas they are only after their pockets and that of their immediate family. They lack accountability but come to tell us that they have done a lot for us. I have a question for them, the roads they boast to have been built for us, how much did they collect for it? What is the quality of these roads, can they outlive their tenure? Why do they choose propaganda over accountability? Do they believe the people are still that ignorant in the 21st Century?

“I want to provide the kind of leadership where prudence and accountability shall be my watchword. The people need to know how their resources are being managed, they need to know what is acruable to the zone and how it is being managed.

“I so much appreciate the endorsements and support I received during my town hall meeting with you. I am only appealing that you translate it to voting strength to secure our victory and a better future for the zone and Abia State in general”, he appealed.

The Labour Party candidates across the board, so far, have proved that only human beings can be described as structure and not money. They have done well in sending the good news of liberation to the grassroots through town hall meetings and interactive engagement with the people. They are ready for the harvest from 25th February 2023.
