The Labour Party’s Candidate for Abia North Senatorial Zone, Chief Nnamdi Iro Oji (Opotoyom), and his House of Representatives counterpart for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, today stormed Ututu in Arochukwu Local Government Area with their message of emancipation that the Obident movement symbolizes.
During the visit, the good people of Obieze lsu and Ike lsu in Ututu expressed joy and promised solidarity with the candidates that represent hope and a new face of Abia.
On their part, the unrelenting candidates reassured the people that with their support and votes, Abia state can be changed for the better, especially in vital areas of providing good and accessible road networks, an organized health care system, and quality education that will help to build leaders of tomorrow.
Chief Nnamdi who has toured virtually all wards of all Zones of Abia North Senatorial Zone assured them that the reason he has taken it upon himself to visit the grassroots is to understand their challenges through townhall meetings and heart-to-heart discussions so that once he mounts the saddle of leadership as the senator for the zone, he will move straight to the business of providing the needed dividends of democracy that will cushion the effect of poverty in the zone and offer better hope to the people of the senatorial zone, across the board.
