The Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal House of Assembly 2023 contestant for Labour Party, Hon Ibe Okwara Osonwa has once again reiterated his commitment to raising the bar of representation when elected to represent the good people of Arochukwu/Ohafia Constituency at the green chambers.

According to the favorite contestant, he is in the race to set record in the duty of speaking for the people at the national assembly where there will be not excuse for delivering below expectation. He emphasized on making the people understand their rights and expectation from the people they elected who are supposed to be accountable to them, who must prove their mandate with physical evidence of their representation, not some written scorecards that shroud the truth, hides realities on ground to confuse the gullible ones.

“I am not a man that opt for average because it is not good enough. That Arochukwu/Ohafia had a representative that performed above his predecessors doesn’t mean his performance was the best. I go for the best, my target is to offer the best in terms of leadership and provision of development to the constituency.

“I want my score card to be how the people I am going to represent appreciate my work after 4 years. Would they be proud to say, indeed we have a representative? Would they be able to point out one, two or three projects that affects their lives positively and say it was done by Ibe Okwara Osonwa?

“Can I beat my chest after 4 years and say Vote me again because I have done well? This should be the score card to judge our leaders. This is why I have intention of raising the bar of representation. We must do better for the next person to learn, that is the only way we can bring development to Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency”, he said.
