Yesterday Pat Utomi and other technocrats contested for the presidency, but we chose we know and PDP ruled us. Yesterday Goodluck Jonathan contested with Buhari but Nigerians chose Buhari.

Today, we are blaming PDP and APC for the sufferings of Nigerians. But we could have made a better choice. The power to choose has always been with us.

Today, Dr. Samuel Uba Okorie and others are contesting for the seat of a Representative ABSHA, Arochukwu State Constituency… Dr. Samuel is an Administrator, an erudite Accountant and has read wide to become a Ph.D and a fellow of over 10 professional bodies with over 30 years professional experience at a Management level.

Today, some are rooting for their friend, some are rooting for their party man, some are rooting for their village-man, some are rooting for whom their friend is rooting for. No one is asking, what does my candidate has to offer? Some are posting on Facebook what they were asked to post. People have sold their consciences and none is asking the right questions again.

Remember, and remember that TOMORROW will come again, and we will sit back and ask ourselves questions like “how did we get here?” What has my candidate been able to change?

Vote right today. Your friend is your friend. Your community man is your community man. But right is RIGHT.

And so I ask, does your candidate has what it takes to be there? What has your candidate done with the little opportunity that was given to him yesterday?
