I have heard about the Federal Government School Feeding Program, and I wondered whether it was fact or fiction.

“Alice IN WONDERLAND: Fairy Tales And Bedtime Story For Kids” is a popular series of folklore genre. Fairy Tales are sometimes magical and mythical.

Yesterday, a very good brother and friend from Okagwe shared happy stories of Ohafia Primary School Pupils in government institutions who benefit from my misconceived, and presumably, mythical tale of government feeding program.

I was wrong. The Federal Government was right. Our primary school pupils feed daily at their schools. They eat eggs, and other specified healthy diets.

An Amaekpu woman, in the course of our research, affirmed the program. “My child hurries to school every morning for the joy of the food he’ll eat at school,” she happily quipped.

An Elu woman, one of the contractors in charge of the program, employs over ten (10) associates who help her deliver services. This is impressive.

The mere fact that the School Feeding Program did not miss Ohafia Udumeze, is highly commendable of the APC led Federal Government. Growing up, I have never seen this kind of program in our educational curricula/policy. We should give credit to whom it is due.

I had published an article on the on going Household Upliftment Program (HUP), among many other Welfare Intervention agenda of APC Federal Government, in which Ohafia families receive between N30,000-N60,000 . You’ll be amazed at the crowd of recipients when you go to Zenith Bank, Ohafia. Reports show that these programs have run for about three years.

Critics would have their opinion. However, the worst antagonist should have a space in his heart to appreciate this laudable agenda. The goal here is not the associated abuses.

It is on record that Abia State Government owes their teachers quite some humongous arrears of salaries and entitlements. This is unacceptable.

Change is imminent and irrevocable. No government has done it this way. I am happy to be an APC Stalwart and an ardent believer in the capacity of High Chief Ikechi Emenike in transforming Abia into a First-World State, as our Governor.

He is the only man with the character and charisma to RESCUE AND DEVELOP ABIA. He has zero-tolerance for corruption. I love his vision for a New Abia.

Emenike is the only Candidate without hands in Abia rots. He is IKE ABIA. It is not by might. Obu site n’IKECHIneke .
