The attention of Ohafiatv News has been brought to a malicious, injurious falsehood making the rounds on social media that the 26 Ohafia Villages banned any form of association with the Nigerian Amy. This misinformation churned out by a mushroom online media platform NEWS BAND, and amplified by Phoenix, is not only wicked and fake but is a blatant demonstration of misinformation, disinformation, and misdemeanor seeking to further truncate the peace that has returned to the most peaceful and accommodating LGA in Abia State.

For the records, the Ohafia clan as one indivisible people have played host to the Nigerian Military for many years, housing the Goodluck Ebelle Jonathan Barracks without any let or issue with the authorities, therefore we wonder the pit of hell from which this concoction should be oozing out from, except, of course, aimed at causing chaos, to kill and to destroy a peaceful people.

To Keep the record straight, the only activities relating to the Army in Ohafia include the spirited effort of the Ezeogos, Youth Leadership, Development Union Presidents, and relevant stakeholders to find a lasting solution to the incessant clash with the military and unnecessary loss of lives, identifying the root causes of these fallouts to find a lasting end to them.
Therefore any persons, group of persons or invisible enemies trying to change the narratives are the real enemies of peace who will fail woefully before they wrath their craftiness or manifest their evil devices.

Recall, OHAFIATV News recently reported the spirited effort of the youths who are the foot soldiers that carry out the good decision of the elders, how they issued warning to criminal elements who are, though not Ohafians, take advantage of the community’s hospitality to commit crimes and bring the wrath of the Army on innocent people. such people were given ultimatums to leave the community or face the consequences. Those involved in cultism, gun running, any form of trafficking, and sex workers were not spared.

To demonstrate their resolve, the youths also staged a peaceful walk around the community. It is surprising then that a sane human being will begin to churn out fallacies to the contrary without verification.

In line with these peaceful moves, the Ezeogo in council also issued a powerful Communique to back these good steps to lasting peace (Copy attached)

The general public is, therefore, advised and encouraged to disregard such wicked reports as no Nigerian will give such instruction to fellow Nigerians to stop associating with other Nigerians. That publication from BLUE BAND is the handiwork of mischief makers, falsehood paddlers, and bloodsuckers that feed on the pain of others.

OHAFIA is a peaceful community that has housed the military for decades. Every effort to bring back the mutual coexistence will not be thwarted by scrupulous elements and their minions.
