The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC in Abia state has released the final list of governorship candidates for the 2023 election in the state
The list released on tuesday had names of ADP Governorship Candidate, Mazi Chibuike Jonas, the NNPP governorship candidate, Dr Ukpai Iro Ukpai, NRM Candidate, Chief Kalu Ijoma Ukeh, and the strong woman contender of PRP, Nnenna Nma-Lancaster Okore.
Others that made the list include: APGA’s Gregory Ibeh , Labour party’s Alex Otti, PDP’s Uche Ikonne as well as the YPP governorship candidate, Chima Nwafor, amongst others.
With the final list now made public, it is an indication that the commencement of the governorship campaigns slated for October 12th 2022 is ripe and good to go in accordance with INEC timetable.
