The ADP Gubernatorial Candidate in Abia State 2023, Mazi Chibuike Jonas, has called on Nigerians to use the occasion of Independence Day Anniversary to reflect on the journey so far as a nation and focus on strengthening our weaknesses while building on our diversity for a better future.

He made this call as a message to reiterate the assurance of hope in the greatness of the nation that must be harnessed for the greater growth of the largest black nation in that world.

On the home front, Mazi Jonas called on Abia citizens to be law-abiding and committed to their determination to change the fortunes of the state by fulfilling their civil responsibility of electing an effective, productive, and people-oriented government that will be responsible and accountable to the people at all times. He, therefore, called on the people to be ready with the PVC for the lofty task ahead.

In the same vein, the former LGA Boss and astute grassroots politician called on Christians and Muslims to shun religious sentiments and embrace unity as the solution to peaceful coexistence, emphasizing that the masses should wake up and avoid being used by desperate politicians to truncate our democratic gains.
