When the political journey to 2023 began, the mainstream parties like APC and PDP took to propaganda to discourage the zealous Nigeria youths from following their hearts in the revolutionary movement that is sweeping the terrain to upset their insatiable grip on power by saying that Labour Party is a structure-less party that cannot win any elections. They said Peter Obi is in the wrong party without structure, they mocked cajoled, and ridiculed him and his teeming youth followers.

Yet little did they know that it was a challenge that they were throwing at the masses to galvanize their energy into a workable tool by turning their number into veritable assets. That was how the movement left social media and metamorphosed into the million-men marches we witness in major cities today. They forgot that when you talk about structure, you are talking about human beings, not buildings and your money can only work in building political structures when the people accept your bribe for their conscience, a prank that is currently not working well for the mainstream parties due to the present political consciousness and the desire to take back our destiny in our hands.

In their political miscalculations, they made the mainstream political parties their dynasty and their cronies the Lords of the manor which forced men of good conscience to have considerations, as such, within the shortest time, Labour Party began to harvest the retinue of the offended, betrayed and disappointed members of those party. That is why today Labour Party can boast of men and women with the greatest grassroots mobilization across the federation and the solidarity base has continued to grow by the days.

Back home in Abia State, no stone has been left unturned in grassroots mobilization and structuring as every candidate that moved to Labour Party came with his/her army of supporters and has gained the confidence and support of the electorates who are already fed up with the old order and has embraced the genuine party as the only remedy to fixing our decaying, dilapidated and diminishing politically eco-system occasioned by instituted maladministration, high handedness and lack of political will for true change.

With the political structure of the Labour Party Gubernatorial Candidate, Dr. Alax Otti in place, the same structure that won him the robbed 2015 election, with the political structure of Hon Nnamdi Iro Orji (Opotoyom) still intact, as well as other army of candidates populating the great party, there is no doubt that Nigeria is ripe for harvest and rescue.

Let no one confuse you any longer, be mindful that Labour Party now has the most solid structure in the state and across Nigeria and has remained the only alternative party that can offer answers to the numerous yearning and aspirations of millions of Nigerians from 2023 and beyond.
