Just like the proverbial tortoise that travels slow but steady, the charged political atmosphere is surreptitiously creeping up on us so fast that preparedness, prudence, and hindsight is the only light that can properly guide our anticipation to the true path of making an informed decision of what becomes of our Constituency in 2023 and beyond.
One sure thing this electioneering period has offered Nigerians is a clean slate, an open cheque to write our destiny for the sake of all of us, and more for the good of generations unborn. And it will be on that trajectory of our choices that posterity will demand an account of us because today is the bedrock of the future, for tomorrow, today becomes yesterday.
In the true spirit of sportsmanship and desire to make perceived changes, this political dispensation has also thrown up actors, political gladiators, the good, the bad, the brave, the enchanted, and even the ugly. Yet in the euphoria of all the tantrums, we must stay focused and keep our eyes on the ball, to remind ourselves of the goal of 2023, a year to retake our destiny or lose it forever.
For some time before the parties’ primaries, the prevailing happenstances appeared to have left us with few options of the devil and the red sea, experimental theories against proven antecedents driven by purpose, we watched with the rapt attention of indecision until fate threw up the missing options, the square peg in a square hole. Then we heaved with an inner sigh of relief, the Doctor has thrown in his hat to the ring.
DR. Samuel Uba Okorie is a prayer answered for the good people of Arochukwu State Constituency as a tested, trusted, and proven manager of human and scarce resources, who, through his managerial know-how, has cut a niche for himself in his profession as a Doctor and in other endeavors of life.
A man with capacity, tenacity, and the pedigree to speak for Arochukwu when it is time to be heard.
it is therefore imperative, germane, and sacrosanct that the people of Arochukwu State Constituency must look beyond the facade of political desperation and bank on a man with proven capacity to manage the scarce resources of the consistency to better the lives of the people.
This is the time to write the future on a clean slate of opportunity imbued in a tested and experienced technocrat like Doctor Samuel Uba Okorie.
Together, we can.
