From times unfathomable, in anals of historical chronology and ecclesiastical recordings, the quest for betterment of human welfare, positive social improvements and development have always taken the center stage. It has continued to determined the direction of political alignment, religious affiliation and cultural inclination to wit.

In African, this trend has continued to be a front burner as many who had at one point or other been ladden with the responsibility of creating a balance for maximum impact had either misused the opportunity or wasted the time running from pillar to post, hence the present need for constant and galvanised effort to have a round peg in a round hole, this is the pedestrian at which Edo State presently stands.

All hope is never lost. When PDP Coalition assembled a team of pragmatic and patriotic leaders across the nation and in diaspora to work as political think-tank and vehicle for mobilization and reorientation, the idea was to change the narrative of institutionalized impunity and to replace mediocrity with merit by seeking out men that are ready to break the jinx and the change status quo. As a body that believe in total rescue and possible redirection of Nigeria Nation on the path of progress and unity, the determination to set the record straight in Ondo State can never be overemphasized.

Abinitio, one of the set standards to rescue Ondo State was in the thorough exercise of scouting for, and supporting only a man with impeccable character, a man of high intelectual competence and pedigree as well as the clout to reposition Ondo and set her once more on the path of positive education, standard infrastructural development and total human capital investment. It is pertinent as it is ironical to point out that as Nigerians, we keep doing same thing over and over while at the same time expecting to get a different result. This is a fact that only facing the Truth can change for us. We must do something differently this time by rooting for a man with the intellectual capacity and administrative capability to turn around the fortunes of the state from 2020 going forward.

Let the people of Ondo State understand that this is a golden opportunity presented to them to make the desired change or continue to endure another 8 year circle of poverty and failed premises that has trailed Nigeria since 2015.

The right time is now. Vote JEGEDE for a new Ondo State State.
