Arsenal will be without Pablo Mari and Gabriel Martinelli when they face Manchester City on Saturday night in the FA Cup semi-final tie at Wembley Stadium due to injuries.
Arsenal disclosed this in a statement via its official website.
Mikel Arteta’s men head to the game after defeating Premier League champions, Liverpool 2-1 in their last fixture on Wednesday.
The statement read: “Pablo Mari: Sustained significant sprain to ankle ligaments during Manchester City (a) on June 17.
“He’ll return to the UK later in July to resume his rehabilitation at our training centre throughout the close season, to return to full training in September.
“Gabriel Martinelli: Sustained injury during training on June 21. The successful arthroscopic procedure was undertaken to repair a lesion in the cartilage of the left knee.
“He’ll continue his recovery throughout the close season, with the aim of a return to full training by the end of 2020.”
The time for the match is scheduled at 7:45 pm.
