SPIRITUAL KINGDOM CHURCH OF CHRIST THANKS GOVERNOR OKEZIE IKPEAZU FOR PALLIATIVE FOOD ITEMS, PRAYS FOR HIS QUICK RECOVERY.
The Ecclesiastical Head of Spiritual Kingdom Church of Christ, High Priest Godwin Enendu has expressed gratitude to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and Abia state government for the palliative food items given to their church for the vulnerable members of their congregation.
In a released signed by the High Priest, the church lauded the efforts of the state government in curtailing the spread of COVID-19 and other measures put in place to mitigate the economic effects of the state wide lockdown. He said;
” We commend the efforts of the state government in curtailing the spread of Coronavirus and medical facilities put in place to nurse infected persons back to health. Also, we appreciate the steps taking to mitigate the economic effects of the lockdown on our people. “

The High Priest also prayed for the quick recovery of the Governor who tested positive for Coronavirus and presently receiving treatment.
” I am deeply saddened by the health conditions of the Governor, and pray for his quick recovery so that Abians will continue to receive his services. Our Lord Jesus Christ through His mercies shall grant him speedy recovery in Jesus’name, Amen.”
The High Priest noted that these are not normal times and called on his congregation to take the COVID-19 protocols as released by the government serious as faith without work is dead.
He said; “these are not normal times, we all have to adhere strictly to the COVID-19 protocols at all times while trusting God to heal our land. I therefore call on the church to continue to pray for the state and to be law abiding.”
