Edo State Police Command has allegedly arrested one of the suspected killer of Late Miss Vera Uwaila Omozuwa in Edo State.

Recall that we had earlier reported about the killing of Miss Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, who was 22years of age before she was raped and killed and also a 100 level student of University of Benin, Edo State.

Also recall that the late Vera was said to have been raped and killed while reading inside Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), a place where she has been reading her books since the covid-19 pandemic broke out.

Report from profjaysblog has it that one of the suspects linked to the rape and killing of Late Miss Vera U. Omozuwa has been arrested by Edo State Police Command.

The Edo State Police PRO, Mr Chidi Nwabuzor while contacted confirmed the arrest of the suspect to our correspondent. He further stated that the suspect was arrested after the fingerprint on the fire extinguisher she was attacked with by her killer was examined.

Many Nigerians have come out to condemn the act in it’s totality and the leadership of RCCG have also come out to speak on the gruesome murder of the UniBen student.
