…prays for Abba kyari
The Nigerian Students and Community leader in India, Comrade Solomon Itere with the patron Engr James Udeh have, in collaboration with Amb Chris Ezeh, the Nigerian ambassador to India, put smile on faces of Nigerians in India irrespective of tribe, believe or creed.
Ohafiatv learnt through a Press release recieved from India that the organizers also promised to ensure that no Nigerian in india will be allowed to suffer due to the adverse effect of COVID-19 as this is the time the world must stand together to fight a common enemy or die standing alone.
In same vein, they commended President Buhari and the Federal Government for precise actions taken so far to ensure that Coronavirus is contained from further spreading and encouraged him to ensure that the palliative made available touches all Nigerian in every state without being discriminative because what affects the eyes effects the nose. They prayed for quick recovery for Buhari’s CoS, and wished him well.
According to the organizer of the palliative efforts spearheaded by the body, this was a time Nigerians like every citizen of the world have to come together to stand against one common enemy, Coronavirus because only by standing together that we can survive.
The full Press Release reads:
(1) All Nigerian Students and Community Association in India had praised President Muhammadu Buhari for the efforts to contain the spread of Coronavirus in Nigeria, and Urge Buhari to ensure that all Stimulus packages reached all Nigerians irrespective of tribe or Religion. We Pray for all Nigerians especially the index cases who are being treated in various isolated areas for speedy recovery, including the Chief of staff to President, Abba kyari, and wish him well.
(2) Many Nigerians were stranded in the face of Stimulus packages for Indian citizens, having left out foreigners in India, Uduak faith a worker in Mumbai, thanked Nigerian Community leaders for coming to her aid, there is world’s largest Curfew in India for 14 days now, we were caught off guard, but appreciate the Indian government preventive measures to stop the spread of Coronavirus, but there was no welfare package for Nigerians.
Ayodele Hassan, a graduate in new Delhi thank the Nigerian Community leaders and Nigerian Embassy officials for sorting Nigerians in line with President Muhammadu Buhari’s government, we are happy with the leaders.
Engr James Udeh observed during their visit to indian Deportation Camp, lampo Border, as the Patron of All Nigerian Students and Community association, facilitated by the Nigerian Ambassador to India, Maj Gen Chris Eze Rtd, ensure that all Nigerians in Deportation camp got Stimulus packages and health preventive packages to ensure that they were safe, I commend The Nigeria Embassy and Nigerian Community for their intervention to cushion effects of Coronavirus in India.
(3) All Nigerian Students and Community association in India leadership had roll out thousands of bags of Rice, including the ones received from the Amb Chris Ezeh, Nigerians are happy.
