It is very disheartening that we wake on daily basis expecting the worst action that will befall us through the oppressive and highhanded administration of President Muhammadu Buhari in his bid and effort to cling unto power at all cost through any means available to him, provided it will achieve his ends, even if it means jettisoning all forms of civility.

As bad as the trend has become, it is even crueler that there have continued to exist a retinue of sycophants who are always standing by to justify every negative actions of the president, provided that the pecks keep flowing to the life. This has gotten to a stage when Nigerians needs to be wary of the imbroglio unfolding before our very eyes.

In a statement from the Director General of Atikulated Agenda Worldwide, Chief Dr. Emeka C. Kalu, signed by his aide on Media and Publicity, Comr. Amos Kalu, and made available to the media, Dr. Kalu expressed shock at the sudden arrest of Mr Abdulahi Babalele, son-in-law to Waziri Atiku Abubakar and Finance Director of Atiku’s Group of Companies who was taken in by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in a Gustapo style. This is a clear sign of Nigeria’s descend into anarchy as Buhari intend to use “Fear Factor” occasioned by “Intimidation” to bring all Nigerians to their knees in fear of him.

Recall that Waziri Atiku Abubakar is challenging the declaration of President Mohammadu Buhari as the winner of the recently concluded 2019 general elections at the presidential election tribunals. This has prompted the Presidency to employ all manners of effort to frustrate the determined Atiku to either abandon the quest of bow to pressure and since it is not working, they have resorted to intimidating people around him, a process that must be condemned by every sane Nigerian that still have conscience.

“Nigeria has been plunged into menace of insecurity, criminality and unemployment, seemingly unabated and other social vices, militating against the Nigerian Nation, police killing civilians and the Army killing police, these are bad omens that should worry any government with the interest of the people at heart.

“Therefore Ignoring these vices plaguing us to concentrate on chasing Atiku does not speak good of an administration that prides itself so much of integrity”. He said.

In a related event in the past, Mr Uyi Giwa Osagie – another Director in Waziri Atiku Abubakar’s company was also arrested to frustrate the campaign and presidential ambition of Atiku and now this. So what point are they trying to prove to Nigerians who have seen how far the tribunal went, though the effort to give judgment has continued to be delayed for reason we are yet to know.

“This is time for Nigerians to speak up before we are totally stripped of our rights as humans. This Gestapo style of arresting and indefinitely detaining people at will is gradually sliding Nigerian into a state of anarchy that we may find difficult to come out of” He said.
