Eminent businessman and Director General of Atikulated Agenda, Chief Dr. Emeka Charles Kalu has urged Nigerians to keep faith in the nation despite its challenges, saying that with prayers, the country would overcome its trials and achieve peace and progress.
In his Easter message, Signed by Comrade Sunny Idika, he urged Nigerians to seek the face of God and pray for the development and growth in every part of the country.
He said, “Easter signifies a renewal, reinvigoration, and the power of Christ’s resurrection. Nigerians must see beyond the trials of the moment and continue to pray and seek the face of God for an end to the challenges of the momentAtiku
“You all need to reflect on the symbolism of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The lesson of Easter is for Christians to rededicate themselves to the teachings of Christ, which are love, peace, faith, hope, and righteousness, etc.
“In order to partake in the eternal life which is the essence of His death and resurrection, It is imperative, therefore, that you all must imbibe the values of charity, compassion, and love and as well as believe in the sanctity of His sacrifice as the basis of a new beginning; a new beginning for self, for the family and the nation.”
Chief Kalu, who said peace was a catalyst for development said,
“I urge everyone to work towards the attainment of peace and security in the Country, in the absence of which we cannot be talking of good governance that includes – sound economic policy, infrastructural development, attracting foreign investors and achieving wealth creation”
He appealed to people of all faiths in the country to continue to maintain their harmonious inter-faith relationship for the overall peace and unity of Nigeria.
